Ardlamont House (16th Century) is the centrepiece at the heart of the Estate and an outstanding example of a Scottish Country House of the Edwardian period. With its spectacular staircase, long ringing corridors, public rooms with roaring log fires, three large double bedrooms with four poster beds and all with adjoining bathrooms, a large twin room and two other smaller doubles plus a single room, there’s something for everyone.
The three-storey house has commanding views over the gardens which are particularly stunning in the spring when the masses of rhododendrons and azaleas are in flower – perfect for your special day.
The route to the beach is fantastic in the spring as the area is blanketed with bluebells, a true sign of warmer weather.
It offers something for everyone, from shooting parties to intimate family weddings. Walkers and cyclists are attracted to the Cowal Way which runs through the grounds, as well as those simply seeking to enjoy its nature trails and extensive wildlife. Here you can see Sea Eagles, Peregrines, Red Squirrels, Pine Martens, Otters, Seals and even Basking Sharks.
This accommodation can be hired as self-catering or catered, which ever suits you and your occasion best. Fantastic for a house party!
